The highlight of our trip is a visit to the popular Carpathian waterfall Maiden's Tears. This is a place of incredible beauty and power created by pure Carpathian nature.

• The legend of the Maiden's Tears waterfall

  The origin of the Carpathian reservoirs is always associated with sad legends. The romantic name Maiden's Tears or Women's Tears is also associated with certain translations. The locals have preserved the sad memory of mountain beauties who cried, and their tears magically turned into rivers, lakes, and waterfalls. These streams prevented evil people from saving their loved ones from enemies and their native land from invaders. By the way, among the waterfalls of the Carpathians, the Yaremcha waterfall Maiden's Tears is not the only body of water with this name. There are also similar natural objects on other rivers (for example, the waterfall of the same name on the banks of the Strypa River in Ternopil region), but they are all different and have their own characteristics.
